Children shine in performances of Nanny McWonka-Poppins and the Big Book Rescue!

With a title that seems as long as the play-script itself, it is with great pride that we can report on the fantastic performances by the children in Years 3, 4 and 5 in their recent show. Once again the Church Langley Primary School have created their own unique show, this time setting the adventure in the future year 3018 but travelling back into storybook adventures – all to learn the value of a good book. It was truly magical to see so many children really grow, in terms of confidence and self-presentation; they clearly enjoyed the eclectic mix of songs and dances.

As always our thanks were given to the children for the dedication to practise, learning of lines and of course the amazing performances – we are always delighted to see their commitment to return to evening performances; it shows real pride and character. Thanks to the audiences who clapped, cheered and laughed along at the ‘terrible jokes’ and superb entertainment. And finally to all the staff, who gave hours of their own time behind the scenes to bring everything together for the benefit of the children –well done everyone!
