Non-uniform Monday and Tuesday
Dear Parents,
I hope you've all had a lovely weekend. I am delighted to report that all the school boilers are now functioning fully and we have completely restored heating to all parts of the school; classes will not have to move around from tomorrow and normality should be re-established. However, in view of the fact that - weather and astro turf permitting - we hope to complete the Santa Dash tomorrow (postponed it from Friday) it would be lovely if the children could come to school in their Christmas jumpers. To support this, we will continue to the end of this term (i.e. Tuesday 20th December) in dress down clothes, i.e. non-uniform.
School will finish at mid-day on Tuesday 20th December although the children will exit at staggered times as follows:
-
12.00 – Years 3 and 5 will leave school through the Key Stage 2 gate
-
12.00 – Years 4 and 6 will leave school through the main gate
-
12.05 – Year 2 will exit though the main school gate
-
12.10 – Year 1 will leave through the main school gate
-
12.15 – Reception will exit through the main school gate
I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and to thank those parents and children who have kindly given me Christmas gifts; they are all very much appreciated.
The spring term will start on Thursday 5th January 2023 when children should return at their regular entry times. Please note that Wednesday 4th January is the official last day of the Christmas holidays and will therefore not be used as a non-pupil day, which means we still have three non-pupil days to take before the end of this academic year.
Merry Christmas to you all.
Kind regards,
Stacey Ward
