Art in Year 5 (2023-2024) summer term

In Year 5, the children have been learning about sculpture and have used sculptures found around Harlow Town as a source of inspiration to design and make their own sculpture based on the school?s values of kindness, teamwork, perseverance and resilience. They used a range of materials selecting from wire, recycled materials, papier mache, and clay to create the basic shape of their sculpture before painting and adding the finishing touches.
