Church Langley rock the O2 with Young Voices

Posted On: 03 February 2019

Outside it was snowing but inside London's O2 Dome, pupils from Church Langley joined with the Young Voices to perform an amazing concert. It was a truly magical and unique experience, something that those who attended will treasure forever. Once again the staff of Church Langley - in particular Mrs Lott and Miss Huff - went far beyond their responsibilities to create a 'once in a lifetime' experience for our very lucky children. The children responded to the challenge of learning hundreds of dance moves to accompany the 20+ songs with great enthusiasm and determination.

The rehearsals during the day went well but once the arena was filled with thousands of parents the concert really came alive. The Young Voices sang songs from the Greatest Showman, Disney's Moana and some classic Golden Oldies; they even accompanied the legendary Tony Hadley as he sang Gold and True - huge hits from the 1980s.

A HUGE well done to all the children and accompanying staff - it was a privilege to be a part of such an amazing experience. Thank you to all the parents, friends and family who came to support on the night - the children loved your support and the adults appreciated your patience and understanding at the end of the evening when collecting your children.
