Never mind about ‘This Girl Can’; Church Langley Girls DO!

Thank you so much for inviting me along. The girls were so well behaved and really enjoyed themselves. You kids are so lucky to go to Church Langley School; it's amazing the opportunities you get.

Thank you to all the staff for giving up their evening to accompany the girls from Mrs Pardoe’s ‘This Girl Can’ after-school club for an amazing evening at the Weston Homes Stadium, Colchester where England’s women thrashed Kazakhstan 5-0.

The girls cheered and smiled throughout the entire evening -though maybe not so much when stuck in various traffic jams! They were fantastic company and once again represented our school with exemplary behaviour.

This was proven when after the match the girls stayed to cheer the England Lionesses as they celebrated with fans, Jill Scott (England centre midfielder) donated her match shirt to the girls of Church Langley. We are looking to have this proudly displayed in the girls changing room as fantastic memento of the evening.
