Futsal Festival Fun

Congratulations to the all the players from Year 5 who represented the school in last week’s Futsal Festivals, this year’s opening events held at Mark Hall Sports Centre. Despite the very warm conditions inside the main hall, the three teams from Church Langley joined 9 other teams to make two competitions; the standard of play was good, and with less players on the pitch than in other football competitions, the additional space allowed better play. Once again, the goalkeeping was very impressive, and goals were usually well-worked.

Mr Stacey (Harlow SSP Manager) who organises the primary schools sporting events around the town was really impressed with the teamwork and independence all of the boys displayed throughout their session. The 12 teams who took part were Church Langley x 3, Pemberley, Purford Green x 2, St Nicholas x 2, The Downs, Potter Street and Hare Street x 2.
