Multicultural Festival and Summer Fayre 2019

Following a month of learning about different countries and continents- during which time they worked with visiting storytellers, dance groups and musicians- each year group learnt various stories and poems from around the world and completed artwork from different continents.

The topic culminated in a multicultural event on Tuesday 16th July, when the children performed some wonderful songs and dances from around the world to their families and friends. Highlights included Maypole dancing, African drumming and Samba.

The children performed spectacularly well in the blazing sunshine and thoroughly enjoyed performing for their loved ones before enjoying a mini summer fair and picnic with their families. Thank you to everybody who helped make this such a special occasion.
